I came to marketing the long way around. Before getting deep into SEO and web positioning I spent years working front-of-house —waiter, kitchen helper, café manager— so when a bar owner tells me about their problems I know exactly what they mean: lost orders, impossible Saturdays, tight margins and suppliers calling at nine in the morning. Then I made the leap into agency SEO and since 2024 I apply it to a single sector: hospitality.

At Qamarero —management software used by more than 2,500 restaurants across Spain, France, UK and Italy— I work from marketing with owners of bars, tapas, cafés, dark kitchens and multi-location chains. The problems repeat every week: raise the average ticket, cut Glovo commissions and make sure the POS doesn't act up on a busy Saturday. Technology has to help, not get in the way.
